Watch “🎂 Birthday Book Haul📚 #bookhaul #romancebooktuber #booktube” on YouTube

I just had my birthday this past February 20th and it’s always a big blessing to see another year and spend it with people I love and care about. But one thing I wanted most out of all my gifts (which I enjoyed just as well) we’re more books. So I did a quick video of a birthday book haul of all the books I got and sharing why I chose them. I’m excited to be getting to them very soon. And having these new books have definitely put me into a big reading mood. Hope you enjoy the video let me know if you are interested in any of the books I mentioned or if you read of these.

Xoxo Nikki🤎

Twilight by Stephenie Meyer | Book Review

Twilight (Twilight, #1)Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This was an interesting re read of Twilight. I know a lot of people can’t stand this book but I actually enjoyed re reading it for the second time. I read this for the first time over 10 years ago and loved it then. This time I’m listening to all the books on audio to get a different experience.

Yes Bella Swan is very awkward but in a way I feel like I know why. I do feel that Bella and Edward’s relationship was a little insta lovey at first. But I dont care I really enjoyed reading this again. As I was reading this all I saw were clips from the movie. Back in the day I was Team Edward I dont know who’s side I’ll be on when I read Midnight Sun.

Reading this series again reminded me that you dont always have to have the superb writing in a book especially if its centered around romance. This is a young adult paranormal romance series that people shouldn’t take so serious it’s a fun, mindless read.

Being back in Folks Washington is enjoyable and that’s all I’m taking away from this experience the second time, an enjoyable fun read.

The audiobook was decent I just wish the narrator changed her voice a little for the different characters. But other than that I enjoyed it. Fun, quick read and I’m looking forward to reading the second book soon.
