Breaking Dawn By Stephenie Meyer | Book Review

Breaking Dawn (Twilight, #4)Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer
My rating: 1 of 5 stars

This was so boring and annoying, nothing like I remembered 11 years ago. This book was so problematic and had many issues that I couldn’t let go. Bella got on my nerves and how bratty yet annoying she was.

This whole back and forth with her wanting to be changed into a vampire made my head hurt. She said something to Edward while on their honeymoon that she wanted to cherish her time being human before she was changed. But she spent the last three books crying and bitching about wanting to be changed into a vampire. She has no clue what she wants.

Then it’s this weird thing with Jacob, she tells him she loves him, dont leave her, she needs him. Meanwhile she is married to Edward. SMH!!! I just can’t with Bella.

It’s amazing I thought this series was good many years ago. But then again I was young and I wasnt a mom and have gone through many experiences. So with that it’s easy to see just how terrible this is.

I only got to 56% in the audiobook and I HAD TO DNF my friend who I’m buddy reading the series with still wants to read Midnight Sun, me on the other hand can careless about the story I’m over it now!

Eclipse By Stephenie Meyer | Book Review

Eclipse (Twilight, #3)Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

I didnt like this book that much to be honest. Bella was extra whiny and feeling all worried every chapter it got annoying. This book also didn’t have a lot of action in it which made it boring.

Bella doesnt know who the hell she wants. She wants Edward to change her to vampire now that she has graduated from high school and she keep pushing that. But at the same time she’s all Jacob face saying she loves him. Its confusing and annoying as hell.

This was a filler book for the series a very boring book to add to the series. I also dont like the whole imprinting thing, it seems wrong especially when it’s done to a child.

Bella wants to throw her normal human life away for a vampire she met only two years. It makes no sense but I can NOW see why this series is so disliked…lol. i forgot about a lot things since this is a re read after over 10 years.

Wasnt the best, was okay but I got through it. Thankfully.

New Moon By Stephenie Meyer | Book Review

New Moon (Twilight, #2)New Moon by Stephenie Meyer
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The second book was as I remembered, it was much better than the first book. Bella is whiny though and just seem to not understand. But I have to remember this series is a insta love paranormal romance. So there is lots of things that are cheesy.

But overall I enjoyed this one. The reader got more of insight of Jacob Black and family and why he wants to protect Bella from the Cullens.

In this one we met with the Valturi family and saw how their powers work. While I reading all i saw was Jane hurting Edward without even touching him, especially the clip from the movie. The Valturi family is actually my favorite i dont know why, I guess seeing another vampire family with so much power and how they rule over others.

It was a little annoying to see Bella act out because Edwars went away. She was doing stupid stuff just to hallucinate and hear Edward’s voice. I understand love can hurt but Bella took it to another level.

However I still enjoyed this one it was better than Twilight so I’m going to continue on in the series…

Twilight by Stephenie Meyer | Book Review

Twilight (Twilight, #1)Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This was an interesting re read of Twilight. I know a lot of people can’t stand this book but I actually enjoyed re reading it for the second time. I read this for the first time over 10 years ago and loved it then. This time I’m listening to all the books on audio to get a different experience.

Yes Bella Swan is very awkward but in a way I feel like I know why. I do feel that Bella and Edward’s relationship was a little insta lovey at first. But I dont care I really enjoyed reading this again. As I was reading this all I saw were clips from the movie. Back in the day I was Team Edward I dont know who’s side I’ll be on when I read Midnight Sun.

Reading this series again reminded me that you dont always have to have the superb writing in a book especially if its centered around romance. This is a young adult paranormal romance series that people shouldn’t take so serious it’s a fun, mindless read.

Being back in Folks Washington is enjoyable and that’s all I’m taking away from this experience the second time, an enjoyable fun read.

The audiobook was decent I just wish the narrator changed her voice a little for the different characters. But other than that I enjoyed it. Fun, quick read and I’m looking forward to reading the second book soon.
