Protective Styling for the Spring/ Summer Months #naturalhair #feedinbraids #afrotexturedhair

I wanted to share in this beauty related post that I finally got a protective style a couple days ago, which is feed in braids (cornrows) which I’ll be wearing for spring and summer. This style will give me a break from being in my natural hair all the time so that I’m not touch it too often. I started my new hair journey in March 2023, I did the big chopped so I’m excited to be documenting my journey and taking pictures as the year goes on.
These are my braids. I think my stylist did a good job. The ends of the braids are tucked under in a low bun. (Which is why you can’t see them) but overall I like this style very low maintenance and plan to get them re done after 2 months.

New Tapered Cut/Mohawk on my Naturally curly Hair #naturalhair

So I wanted to share with everyone that I got my hair cut into a tapered style Mohawk. It’s something I really wanted to do for a long time and finally did it last Wednesday. My stylist knew exactly what I wanted and I think she did a great job. 😊

Hair this short has made doing my hair so much easier and faster. I overall just love this cut I wish I would have done this sooner.

Down below are some pictures I showed my stylist of what style I was going for.

Let me know how you like my haircut, and thanks for stopping by.
