December TBR | Reading Plans

These are the books I picked out to focus on for the month of December. I have a mixture of all kinds of books. Some in which I already started but needed to finish, and some are new to me authors I checked out from the library or from Kindle unlimited. My plan is to read as much as I can this month. Lately I been feeling that reading mojo of wanting to read everything, and I think that’s good but can be overwhelming at times. I plan to pace myself and not force myself to read at that moment when I don’t want to. Pace myself and have fun this month.

Down below is a listing of where you can read the synopsis of each book I decided to read this month.

HER NIGHT WITH SANTA

LUXE TWO
THE DINNER
INDIGO
JUST FOR THE HOLIDAYS
CHOKE
ICE PLANET BARBARIANS
NO LOYALTY
CRESCENT CITY

Hope you enjoyed this post and got and idea of how my month is looking like reading wise. Share in the comments your readings plans this month.

A Court of Thorns and Roses By Sarah J Maas | Book Review

Β

A Court of Thorns and Roses (A Court of Thorns and Roses, #1)A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

To my surprise this was really good and it kept my attention the whole way through. 19 year old Feyre is a hunter and one evening she kills a wolf while hunting a deer. She didnt realize that her killing that wolf would lead to her be captive by not only animal but a high Fae and his name is Tamlin.

Fayre has to stay in the high court to pay back her debt for killing the wolf. All she wants it go home. Although Tamlin is not making it any easy for Fayre she slowly starts to have a liking which then turns to love for Tamlin. Being around him and in his world seeing all the harshness that goes on Feyre is becoming more close to Tamlin.

Rhysand was pretty much a jerk to Feyre doing things just to spark a rise from Tamlin. The high Queen was a bitch too, so glad she’s dead.Β

Overall I enjoyed the first book in this series and plan to continue. Also I think this series should be under new adult and not young adult because of the sex and drinking that’s involved. Nonetheless I really enjoyed it and will move on to book 2 real soon.
