A lethal plague sweeps the globe. Millions have died. Survivors are
confined to their homes.

Gabriel passes his time in a small New York apartment on the city’s Upper
West Side. During the plodding solitude of the lockdown, he observes several
strangers in their nearby apartments. As he watches them struggle to survive
a world at risk of extinction, he wonders about their lives—where
they’re from, what they value, how they’re coping with a deadly contagion.
All alone, he develops a vague yet important connection to these people, an
affection for those who are struggling to survive isolation, fear and
looming death.

Told in powerful, spellbinding free verse, Gabriel’s observations grow
deeper and more elaborate as the endless days pass. But when he and a woman
from across the street begin to watch each other from afar, his imagination
begins to collide with the bleak reality of the times.

#BlogTour Dear Mom By Eva Tillman #bookblitz #bookpromotion @rabtbooktours

(A letter I will never send, to a mother who would never read it

    anyway)

  Non-fiction / Memoir

  Date Published: 06-01-2023

None of us were raised by perfect mothers, nor can we ourselves be perfect

parents. But some mothers sure do know how to ruin a life, well, almost. I

say almost because, although my mother’s parenting left severe damage in its

path and, regrettably, and inevitably, shaped some of the decisions I made,

I am grateful to have realized the issues I was facing. So, I now have the

opportunity to properly address those issues, to minimize their  impact

    on my life.

This book holds the words I would express to my mother, if I thought she

cared to acknowledge my feelings at all.

Many others have been “raised” by narcissistic mothers and have

been deeply affected. But it is still possible to live happy lives, free of

Mom’s burden. Writing has helped me immensely in this regard.

  About the Author

Eva Tillman published her first work in 2023. However, she has enjoyed

writing since she was a teenager.

She lived in several regions of the United States before she finally

settled in the West with its palm trees and almost constant sunshine. She

loves to read, eat, and help others feel good about themselves.

Many people, including Eva, have faced trauma of different types.

Unfortunately, the hands of time cannot be turned back. But it is possible

to live happy and successful lives, contentedly coping with the slowly

    dissipating effects of the trauma.

In her most personal work, “Dear Mom”, Eva does her best to

express herself as she would if she were writing to Mother herself. Perhaps

one day Eva will deliver the book to its rightful recipient. For now, she

enjoys the liberation of having poured out her true feelings.

Write Out Loud: Finding the Time to Write #guestpost #blogtour @womenonwriting

Finding The Time to Write:

As a new author and writer I find that the hardest thing for myself is finding the time to write. It sounds easy to just take out my laptop or notebook and write but I always feel it better to have a comfortable space and not interruptions to make writing time easier for myself. I am a mom of a special needs child and I just put most of my “me time” during the day while he’s at school or evenings when he is sleep or evening during the weekend afternoons.

Finding the time to write is so important because I find when I’m not writing or at least thinking about my writing projects I can start to have self doubt and that something no new writer needs. So I learned doing writing sprints (I find some pre recorded videos on YouTube that I can write along with or I can set my own timer)

I also made it a mission to write down on my phone which I find to be very easy, especially when I’m out and I have a new idea that I just can’t wait to put together. I have usye things like Word, Google docs, and Microsoft notes to do my brainstorming and note taking. I like using these programs because my work gets synced to my computer and I won’t worry about losing anything (no writer wants to write for hours and lose their work)

So my phone, when I’m home I have a notebook and my computer all near by for when I’m feeling creative. Because I feel my stories are forever changing I’m always adding and taking away from them all the time. I remember a few times I woke up in the middle of the night just to take notes on my dream that I thought I could use in my story so I wouldn’t forget it later.

Overall although finding time is important I also find not adding pressure on yourself because that takes away the fun and enjoyment from writing. I have to tell myself this is my life long career and I want to have fun with what I’m doing, no pressure no stress. Make writing fun maybe by playing some music, taking a 5-10 minute break in-between writing sprints, and also rewarding yourself like with coffee, or candy or just a drive to the mall later, it be something simple like a hot bath even. Make writing time fun and these tips I have to always remind myself with because it’s very easy to lose track.

Things to consider:

• music

• writing sprints

• group writing session (there are a lot of groups online people can sign up for free, or ask around your local library)

•reward yourself

• be kind to yourself

• no pressure, no stress remember to enjoy yourself

#BlogTour The Imposed Path The Gem Keepers Saga By Timothy M. David #bookblitz #bookpromotion @rabtbooktours

The Gem Keepers Saga Book 1

  Science Fiction

  Date Published: 06-01-2023

  Publisher: Gem Keeper Creations

photo add-to-goodreads-button_zpsc7b3c634.png

I’ve been called Hero, Protector, even an Angel. But to act in this

manner, there must be an act of brutal savagery. Sorrow, terror, pain is the

Hero’s experience. To be a Hero means to live in a nightmare.

My name is Emma, and this is my life now. I remember tales about heroes as

a kid; full of excitement and fantasy endings. But those are just stories.

When I got my powers they seemed exciting and fun; but then reality hit.

Cosmic war, invading alien fleets, and the Stone Keepers; these are my

reality. Those, and other atrocities caused by our own species, overshadow

the hero’s path. Atrocities I’m compelled to act upon, which

leave everlasting scars – others can’t see. Myself, my partner, and my

new friends, are the latest chosen as Gem Keepers. All of the Gem Keepers

before us have fallen to a powerful evil. Now, Earth is thrust into a

timeless war, against an unimaginable enemy. We must somehow unite our

world, or it will all be lost. The ones I love, those who bring me a sense

of happiness, will perish. I refuse to let this happen.

So call me a Hero, call me whatever you want. Just understand this was an

Imposed Path, and it’s just the beginning.

The Imposed Path is the first book in the Gem Keepers Saga. It follows Emma

through her eyes, as she and her new friends are forced into a cosmic war.

    Powerful enemies, invading alien fleets, and the dark side of human nature;

is what she must face. Emma’s new found love, and friendships; will be her

strongest tools in overcoming these challenges. This series will dive into

the dark aftermath of Emma’s many experiences – the physical and

emotional impact of being a hero. Pain, sorrow, and terror fill this

journey; will love and friendship be enough. How much can a hero endure?

Will she be able to keep her promise to the one she loves, and Never Let

    Go.

  About the Author

Timothy M. David is a recently retired 24 year veteran. He is an avid

Sci-Fi and Comic Book fan, but enjoys horror fantasy and crime stories as

well. As a hobby he would write short stories, and came up with the idea for

the Gem Keepers Saga during his last overseas assignment. He enjoyed the

characters and story so much, he started writing his first novel. What was

expected to be a single novel, has now become an estimated seven part

series. He has many other stories he would like to convert to novels, and

make his author dream come true. He hopes people will enjoy his stories, and

    become fans of his work.
